Kindness Campaign

St Mary's Church is working with Churches Together in Haverhill and District, as well as the ONE Haverhill Partnership, Haverhill Town Council and the Love Haverhill project, to bring you the summer Kindness Campaign.

Launched at the Haverhill Show at the beginning of July, the campaign takes its inspiration from the words of Colossians 3.12: 'clothe yourselves with kindness'. There are twelve posters to find around the town, each with a different reflection, story and prayer about kindness.

Each one also has a mascot: Haverhill's kindness kangaroo! If you collect a passport from St Mary's, or from other places around town, you can record the name of each mascot when you find its poster. Bring your completed poster to St Mary's to pick up your sticker, telling everyone that you completed the kindness trail! St Mary's is open on Fridays from 10-4 and Saturdays 10-12, or at service times, to collect your sticker.

This is part of a wider initiative to promote community spirit in Haverhill, and to show to the wider region what Haverhill has to offer. There are lots of ways in which you can show kindness this summer, and to help to become 'God's chosen people' as he wishes for us and for our wellbeing.
