Bell Restoration Appeal

Could you support our bell restoration appeal? The six bells of St Mary's, Haverhill have been ringing out over the town for centuries - but there has been no major work on them since 1904. They are in need of a major overhaul, and we are seeking your help to make this happen.
Our proposal is to retune the existing bells to modern standards and rehang them with new fixtures and fittings. We are exploring the possibility of using a new steel frame to reduce movement in the tower and introducing sound control to reduce the volume of the bells in the immediate surroundings without compromising their audibility further afield.
