Clock Repair

The clock at Withersfield, including the gilded clock face on the outside of the tower and the mechanism, has been repaired and restored in celebration of the Platinum Jubilee of her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, with a grant for the work from Suffolk Historic Churches Trust. The repair was carried out by A James Jewellers of Saffron Walden, since the clock stopped working some time ago. The new face now keeps time once again as the only public time-piece in the village.
