Confirmation

On Sunday 5th November we look forward to welcoming Bishop Martin Seeley, our diocesan bishop, to the 9.30am Welcome Eucharist. He will preside at the service and offer confirmation.

Confirmation is for those who have been baptised/christened and who wish to make a public commitment of faith. Candidates are invited to take part in a discussion group in the weeks before the service, and are then presented to the bishop who will pray for the candidates, lay hands on their head, anoint with oil, and invite the Holy Spirit to confirm her gifts in each person.
