Outdoor Nativity
This year Haverhill & District Churches Together are staging their first outdoor nativity! On Saturday 4th December, starting at Haverhill Methodist Church at 12pm, the Christmas story will be told with live actors, a live donkey, a not-so-live camel and plenty of fun. Children are encourage to come dressed up as angels, shepherds, magi or animals, and there will be gifts for all those who come dressed up thanks to our partnership with the National Literacy Trust. There will be singing along the way, and a stop at a well known inn to see if there is any room for the night. The event will finish at St Mary's with refreshments.
The same weekend is the Town Council's Winter Wonderland Weekend, including late night shopping on Friday 3rd December. St Mary's will be open with stalls and crafts as well as hot dogs and drinks available. There will be carols on the High Street starting at 6pm, which everyone is welcome to join in with .
