Suffolk Day
19 June 2021 21:00
Suffolk Day is on 21st June each year, and is a chance to celebrate the vibrant and diverse life of our county of Suffolk, give thanks for our blessings and pray for the people and places here. As the song specially written for Suffolk Day says, this is St Edmund's land, so we also ask: St Edmund King and Martyr, pray for us.
The theme this year is 'rejoice, revisit, remember' - encouraging us to connect with the communities, memories and experiences that form us. There is a flag raising ceremony in Haverhill's Market Square at dawn on Monday 21st June, at which the Mayor will read the Suffolk Day proclamation. More information is available from Haverhill Town Council.
